Breakfast - Multigrain hoops in skimmed milk with lemon honey & sliced banana
Melon chunks

Snack - 2 wholegrain crackers & jam

Lunch - Tomato soup & 2 slices of wholemeal toast
Activia yoghurt

Fruit smoothie
Tea - Quorn burger, potato & vegetables

Dieting - DAY 10

Breakfast - Multigrain hoops in skimmed milk, with sliced banana & lemon honey
Melon and grapes

Lunch - Baked beans on wholemeal toast
Activia yoghurt, 2 wholegrain crackers

Tea - Quorn, potato and veg
Fruit smoothie

Dieting - DAY 9

The lack of sleep is killing me here! Going grocery shopping later though so will have to pick up something different to eat.

Breakfast - Cornflakes in skimmed milk, drizzled with lemon honey
Activia yohgurt (good for digestion apparently!)
Fruit smoothie

Lunch - Spaghetti on wholemeal toast

Snack - Fresh fruit salad
Multigrain hoops

Tea - Potato and veg

Another boring one! Got a better night's sleep last night though so getting better!

Snack - Baby carrot sticks

Dieting - DAY 7

I hardly slept last night again and I feel like crap because of it! I think I need to down half a bottle of Night Nurse tonight coz I am not doing that again!! Anyway, the quality of the diet is suffering a fair bit but I'm not going to give up when I haven't even made it through week 1! I plan to do a weigh-in at the end of week 2 so stay tuned to see if this diet works!

Day 7:

Breakfast - Cornflakes in skimmed milk with lemon honey and banana slices
Fruit smoothie

Lunch - Spaghetti on toast

Tea - Potato & vegetables

Oh, by the way, I haven't exercised for ages so I'm builidng up gradually with some light walking. Hopefully this will boost the results!

I've had a stinking cold the last couple of days so I'm doing pretty crap with the meal planning and variety. I'll get something decent on the menu soon!

Dieting - DAY 5

I weighed myself yesterday and I am exacty the same. I knoooow, it's only been a few days. Maybe I should eat less. Anyway here's today's meal plan:

Breakfast - Weetabix with raisins, lemon honey, sunflower seeds & skimmed milk
Fruit salad

Lunch - Spaghetti on toast

Snack - Activia yoghurt

Tea - Potato and vegetables
Fruit smoothie

Breakfast - Cornflakes with dried blackcurrants, sunflower seeds and honey
Fresh [mixed] melon chunks
1 slice of wholemeal toast with jam

Snack - Carrot sticks

Lunch - Beans on toast
Activia yoghurt

Snack - Fruit smoothie

Tea - Quorn, potato and vegetables

Dieting - DAY 3

Ok, the main challenge here is definitely going to be keeping it varied! Right, here's day 3:

Breakfast - Porridge topped with walnuts, cachews, sunflower seeds, raisins & lemon honey
Fresh pineapple chunks

Snack - Handful of Multigrain Hoops (Store-brand Cheerios!)

Lunch - Potato, courgette & carrots
Activia yoghurt

Snack - Innocent 'This Water' made with lemon, lime & spring water

Tea - Spaghetti on wholemeal toast
2 wholegrain crackers with jam

Dieting - DAY 2

Here's the plan for day 2:

Breakfast - Weetabix in skimmed milk, with dried blackcurrants & honey, 1 slice wholemeal toast and a glass of fresh orange juice

Lunch - Jacket potato

Snack - Activia yoghurt, 2 wholegrain crackers

Tea - Tomato soup & 2 slices wholemeal toast

Trying to keep this diet varied is going to be a challenge; I'm a very fussy eater at the best of times! Plus, my boyfriend brought round cheese, chocolate cake [bites] and crisps last night for him to snack on in the evening. These are three of the main things I've cut out! Not helpful!!

Dieting - DAY 1

Here's the plan for today: (if anyone knows of any way I can improve this please let me know!)

Breakfast - Weetabix with dried fruit & honey
1 slice wholemeal toast and a glass of fresh orange juice.

Lunch - Beans on wholemeal toast
Activia yoghurt, 2 wholegrain crackers

Tea - Potato croquets, steamed vegetables

I should mention I'm a very stict vegetarian (not to be mistaken for vegan!)

Day 1 of the Diet Starts Tomorrow.

I'm not giving in this time. It's not like I'm overweight but I feel SO fucking fat. Fat and ugly. I look in the mirror and I'm disgusted.

I'm 22 years old, almost 5ft 4", and I weight 8st 8lbs. I was underweight 'naturally' (well kind of... I never worried about my weight) when I was growing up. I hit 18/19 and was around 7st 11lbs and that's the way I liked it. I have to get back to that.... Being skinny was always my 'thing'. I stood out and I never even had to try to stay that way; it was just how I was.

Anyway I'm bloody well going to shift these pounds, beginning tomorrow (usual cliche but this time I'm sticking). I figured if I blog about it it might boost my willpower somehow and I'll be less inclined to give up after day 2 or even the first few hours.

My birthday is near the start of June. I want to be happy with my weight by the time I'm 23. Here goes.
